I am about to buy a one-year-old Life@Home BBQ for $100 CAD. Is that a fair deal? It is supposedly in great condition. Thanks!

If it's the real canadian brand that I think it is, then I would suggest no. They have a terrible return policy on most items, so I would reconsider and go to either Wal-mart, Costco, or Sears.
Hope that helps a little.
P.S. I've never had good luck with Life@home products, so you may want a second opinion! LOL

Hi, I use to sell BBQ'S, but am not familliar with that one. There are things you should look at when you go to see it. Look at the Burner to see it is burnt threw.A good burner will be made out of stainless steel. If it's rusted, you'll know it's not S.S. Look at the Venturies,do they fit snuggley into the gas valves? If they don't ,than the wrong burner was put into it. How many BTU's is it? That's a measure of gas,and 40,000 is about what you want for a bbq that has about 18x26 cooking grate. If it's smaller, than 30,000 is good. If it's propane, look at the hose, is it cracked any where? A new one will cost about fifty to sixty dollars(a good one)Is the end of the hose crimped on to the bbq? Y ou don't wan't that, you can't change out the hose.If it's natural gas, does it have the fittings? Is the bucket flimsey? Those are some of the things to look at. Hope I helped you at least a little.Bye
