Yeah, I know the feeling! My family never supported me in this, but all I have ever wanted to do is to pursue a singing career....well I believe you should definitely go for it, if it is your dream! Nothing should get in the way of you doing what you love doing!
As for me, I have also decided to give it a go. Maybe one day we will meet both having become successful artists!

Whitney and Bobby both have talent and once touched the stars. Look where they are now. I say go for it but you have work to do. The love your parents have for you is understandable; you must now reassure them and make them proud. Learn to write music and become a wordsmith like Lionel Richie after the Commodores. Good luck.
