i heard they put many meaning between letters and lines in songs and also there ideas like if you take letter from here and letter from there you will get something with a special meaning like in some city title if you take the first letter of each word you will get syd(the guy that died)

i dont get it, im sure they DONT have all those meanings and people just look because they want to find a certain thing.

if you took some letter and built a word it doesnt make it special, if the letters whould make "meat" they people say it has meaning too.

you know what i mean?

and how people say dark side of the moon (?) matches up with the wizard of oz, and they themselves said no...yeah its pretty stupid i agree. i hate it when people try to find hidden or "deep" meanings in things.

They're my favorite band, and the only symbolism I see is

Shine on
You crazy
Diamond

The song's dedicated to Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett.

Every other word's first letter spells out SYD. Intentional? Probably. Subtle? Not really. The only hidden meaning Pink Floyd has ever put in their songs that wasn't only noticed by pot heads? Most likely.
