It would be pretty darn hard to train a snake, seeing as they have an internal ear and cannot hear you when you talk to them. Snakes hear entirely through vibrations, with an internal ear. That's why they're not nearly as responsive as other animals, such as dogs.

I taught my fwc to stand when I raise my hand but Ball pythons will probably stick to sit, stay and well ummmm yeah just sit and stay.

my daughters ball python is a escape artists.. and we find him the least expected places.. so they already know a trick

Eat, sleep, take a bath, and regurgitate which is a hard one but very rewarding.
