"Morning sickness". This does not, by itself, cause miscarriage.
Stock up on saltines, Ritz, plain potato chips, or bread. These things can relieve nausea, at the same time giving you some carbs to go on.
Eventually, this should pass. It's a totally normal thing, and not a serious cause for concern.

thats called morning sickness hun, you can get it at any time of the day. also known as food adversions. right now i am 37 weeks pregnant, and i dont get morning sickness anymore. only if i eat something really greasy, then i will bring that back up. but the only thing i really have to worry about right now is heartburn, i get that alot. but when i was about 7 weeks pregnant, i started not eating much either, and i would get sick to even the smell or though of bacon, eggs, sausage, and anything really. so then i wouldnt be able to eat it. And alot of people are worried about miscarriages in early pregnancy, because it doesnt really feel like you are pregnant, your not showing, and you cant feel the baby kick or anything like that. but my midwife told me that after you hear the heartbeat for the first time, the chance of having a miscarriage has dropped 40%. so make sure that you get into the doc so you can hear the heartbeat, but that is only around 10 weeks when you can hear it for the first time. and also once you are past 4 months pregnant, then you cant have a miscarriage anymore, if something ever happend to the baby then it is known as a stillbirth, which means its a real baby right then not a fetus. but no matter what the whole time the baby is in you, ever since that first heart beat it is a baby =] Congratulations on your new baby and Good luck. Take good care of that baby.

I went through the same thing, I am 9 weeks pregnant. I think you will be fine if you stay very well hydrated. Also try to eat several small meals a day, even if its just a couple of crackers at a time. Crackers are good, becuase they dont smell and are pretty bland. Try some cucumber and brocolli, and fruits.
As long as you arnt starving yourself intentionally, you should be fine. Your baby is teeny tiny, very small, and is getting its food from your bloodstream, it doesnt need calories from food you eat just yet. Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins and maybe and extra folic acid (folic acid reduces the risk of birth defects).
You will be fine. I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and everything was normal. I went through the same thing, and am still going through it a little bit. My OB is not concerned at all, but she stresses having at least a little something in your tummy, so you can have more energy.
I eat several small snacks and meals a day: Made up of Crackers, Grapes, Brocolli, Cucumber, Oranges, Sunflower seeds, and meals I cook for my family. Plain Rice Crispie or Chex cerial with milk is good too, becuase its pretty bland as well. Just eat whatever you can stomach right now...and try to keep a little something in your stomach at all times.
Hope this helped! Congrats on your pregnancy!
P.S. If you are really worried about it, make sure you talk to your OB/GYN about it, she/he is a professional, and will be able to give you better answers probably.

Wow... to not be rude yet i think of all of the different answerers are over-reacting a sprint... At 19 weeks pregnant your toddler nonetheless has room to circulate around without you feeling it... your toddler is better than possibly nonetheless moving yet at this degree on your being pregnant you at the instant are not feeling each thing he or she is doing, and that's thoroughly known. As for the different indications - it is likewise known. throughout the time of my finished being pregnant i've got had a rollercoaster journey with my syptoms, each thing from my breats being sore, to my tastes, smells, etc has come and long gone and are available returned. it is common on your indications to subside. i think of you and toddler are in all danger merely fantastic and that i'm particular you're merely annoying a sprint too much like we've all achieved. once you're nonetheless stressful i could recommend merely giving your Dr. a decision to place your strategies comfy, she may be waiting to circulate up your appointment if she thinks that's neccessary. To me - this all sounds enormously known... i could recommend relaxing and laying down for slightly and attempting to coax the toddler to circulate - with a bit of luck he/she would be able to grant you a sprint prod to make you experience greater advantageous. when I felt my first circulation i exchange into merely waiting and arranged to experience the subsequent and could sometimes ask your self "that's been a at a similar time as considering I felt something..." even even though it did not rather initiate getting very "popular" until around 23 or 24 weeks or so... merely loosen up, i'm hoping i've got helped in some way... sturdy success and congrats!

Your body is protecting your baby... that's all. It's an old instinct kicking in from the beginning of time when nature didn't want you to accidentally eat any poisenous food. Have a milkshake or yogurt. Take your vitamins. You'll get your appetite back again soon. And tell that boyfriend of yours that it's time to get married!

Make sure you're getting plenty of fluids. If you do find something appealing to eat, go ahead and eat it, even if it's not the most nutritional. Let your OB know what's going on, and he/she will work with you to make sure you and your baby get the nutrients you need. Early in my pregnancy, I didn't feel like eating much, either, and my doctor and I drew up a plan to make sure I got some nutrients.
