It's okay! I feel like that sometimes. But then I don't like it when people feel sorry for me because I want to feel independent. There's nothing wrong with you. Sometimes, having attention tells us that others care for us. But I think it might be inconsiderate sometimes because you're asking people to feel sorry for yoU! do you know what i mean? but all in all, there's nothing wrong

yes
because you want attention for negative things and you want people to feel sorry for you and that's pathetic
you basically want negative attention and that's no good
why don't you put your effort into something productive so that people will praise you instead of feel bad for you? people will look up to you or feel proud of you, not feel sorry for you. it'll feel a million times better not only because people are giving you attention, good attention, but because you did something good for yourself. you'd rather have people look up to you than down on you. plus if you just want people to feel sorry for you all the time, people will start to think that all you do is complain

There is nothing wrong with you. It's ok to want to feel loved and to have attention. But do understand that in life, at the end, the only person you can really rely on is yourself. Learn to rely on yourself meaning: do things to make yourself happy, be your own best friend, comfort yourself. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't tell others your feelings. But at the same time, learn to depend on yourself to make yourself feel better.

Dear Ashley, there is nothing wrong with you. Most people are very selfish and think they have too many problems of their own to be able to give support to others. Please don't let their ignorance make you feel bad. We all need to know we are being cared for and that we don't have to handle our troubles on our own.
I care that you don't have someone right beside you to listen and give you a hug. I know how that can be. You are not alone. You are totally OK. You have a loving heart.
Be good to yourself. Do something you enjoy as a reward for being such a nice person.

It is natural to think that way. You don't to be depressed so you reach out for comfort. It's natural when you do that especially when everything seems to be going against you. But when you can over come that feeling you will be all right. SO don't be scare to reach out for comfort, one day you just might retuen the favor to someone else.

that's completely normal. I feel that way sometimes too. It's natural for people to want attention. My suggestion to you is to try and get attention by compliments rather than pity. It's okay to want to be noticed.

You are feeling neglected and left our for someone reason so wanting people to feel sorry for you is a way to get them to notice you. It's normal, more people do it than you think.
Just be careful not to hurt those around you.
