Do *I* need someone? *shrugs* I don't know. I actually think that I could possibly live by myself, secluded somewhere for the remainder of my life. I mean, you COULD do that. However, life would get boring unless you had some kind of entertainment like the Internet, but that would technically be "needing somebody," right? Sooo... I think it's *possible* that we don't need anyone, but I also think that because we are not born under those circumstances (on our own separated deserted islands or whatever) that we have gotten used to needing somebody there for us. It's sort of like the whole "could you live without TV" question... some answer "NO! Of course not," but you could if you had never KNOWN what TV is or it was never invented. You can't miss something you've never had before.

Yes, we all need somebody sometimes
but..
that someone means something different for everyone.
It does not necessarily mean a boyfreind/girlfrind, husband/wife or lover. It could be a family member, a friend, a teacher, a boss, a neighbor, a co-worker, or even a stranger on the street.
People also need how to learn how to stand on their own at times
but..
