Who cares what others think? Go ahead and use the name. It's not your fault a famous person beat you to it. Now.. if you named your next kids Zahara and Maddox, it would be a bit hard to claim you weren't copying. ; )

Okay, anyone who would use the name Shiloh I think would be copying. Even if you weren't, everyone would think this anyways. BUT - would anyone care or still think this in 4 years when the baby is older? No, I dont think so. It's because Shiloh was just born and her name has just freshly been introduced. So, i would say GO FOR IT with Shiloh. It's an awesome name and I was jealous when Angelina had her baby that I hadn't been so creative as to think of it! Don't worry about what others think. I named my daughter Sienna, and everyone thought I was copying Sienna Miller (which I was, lol...but who cares?). If I have another baby girl, I may name her Violet. Everyone will say I am copying Bennifer Garner, but with all the millions of people in the world, who cares if you love the name!

Shiloh is a pretty name. If you like it, who cares what people think. I definitely wouldn't like people to think I was getting it from Angelina Jolie, because personally I don't like her.
Just tell them what you just told us. It was a favorite before they even had her. I say go for it.

No, and who cares what others think? Shiloh is a nice name....and just because a celebrity names their kid something doesn't mean everyone else is copying them. Good luck!

It doesn't matter even if you were copying them. They aren't going to find out and it's your choice on what your name your baby. I like Shiloh.

Unless they took out a copyright or a patent on it, you can use it if you like it. Chances are, your Shiloh won't end up in the same classroom as theirs, anyway. And they had to hear it somewhere, too, right?

I think Shiloh is fairly common and it wouldn't seem as if you're copying. It would look much more like copying if you named a daughter Suri or Scout.

I think we will hear/see that name a lot over the next couple of years because of Angelina Jolie. It will probably become as common as Emily or Alexis.
If you like it, use it!!
