I suffer from anxiety attacks and NO, alcohol does not help, if anything it makes it worse!

You see this all the time in the movies and tv,whenever someone is facing a crisis the first thing they do is take a drink but the truth is that alcohol is a depressant, so if you are in a state of anxiety and you drink alcohol it will make you feel worse.

No, alcohol does not make it better. Try looking for positive anxiety reducing techniques like relaxation massage, relaxation tapes, exercise and a diet low in caffeine. Please dont look to alcohol to solve your problems. Look within yourself and find the strength to meet your struggles head on with good healthy anxiety reducing ways. Good luck.

No if a person is having anxiety problems then alcohol will make it even worse, instead of dampening those feelings it actually heightens them.

no way, alcohol is bad even if you don't have anxiety! You shouldn't be drinking! Especially if u are under 21!

No.. let me tell you from experience no.
you may feel better for the time but it will just make you more fustrated in the future. Most people who drink to relieve stress and anxiety just get worse. This will effect you longterm wise and plus no one likes peolpe who drink for that reason.
