What would be some cool ideas, concepts, and features of a really good video game?

I'd like to see a good RPG that steps away from the normal structure...like, why does the main character always have to be a cocky sword wielder? Why can't there be a sweet, shy healer as a main character?
Also, I'd like to see people with a ton of new abilities (i.e. get away from black mage, white mage, warrior, thief structure)
