When dreaming, do you usually dream of people you know or are they 'strangers' in your dream ?

I'm an avid dreamer. When I dream I rarely dream of any person I personally know. I have three kids, family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. and it is very rare that I dream of any of them. Those in my dream, I seem to know them in my dream state, yet in real 'waking' life, I don't know them. I find this odd.

If you dream much, do you usually dream of those you really know or are those in your dreams usually strangers.?

That's interesting. I dream a lot, and It's almost always people I know who are in my dreams.......usually close family members and friends. It's rare that I don't know my dream people in real life. You've made me think and wonder about different peoples dreams and why we dream what we do. :)

I dream about people I know, but the funny things is that sometimes the person I'm dreaming about, say my Mom for example, isn't her phsical self, but I still recognize her as my mother in my dream...she has my Mom's voice, personality, etc., just a different body. In the dream I never question it though, it makes complete sense until I wake up. I also dream of strangers, but their face is usually one I know...I'll wake up and realize that the guy in my dream who said hello as he passed me by on the street was in the body of my Papa...Other times, I dream of people as I know them...Weird.

I typically dream about those I know. The problem with this is that they are people who I either haven't spoken to in years or people I don't really like. Be that as it may, I dream about people I know (at least in some way).

I always have these dreams with the girls that I really like. But sometimes, I see them in my dreams talking with strangers that I don't even know. It's so weird how my brain creates random faces in my dream. I can't even try to compose a random face by trying to imagine one...

I usually dream of the people I know.. Well. actually every single night I dream of people I know. I've had dreams with my friends in them, my family, and my family's friends.

i have not been attempting lately, yet I do nonetheless undergo in concepts some right here and there. after I saved a dream mag it became really straightforward to undergo in concepts my desires. The act of writing them down after I awakened exercised my dream memory muscle or something lol, and that i began to undergo in concepts diverse desires each and every evening. well the thing is, everyone... EVERYONE... in our dreams represent an aspect of ourselves... usually when people dream about someone they know, its not really about that person, but either our relationship with them, or something in them that mirrors something in us... so the fact that you're dreaming about people you don't know, doesn't seem that out of place...

for me, personally, i dream of mostly people i don't know, but occasionally i dream of people i do know, when its dreams about mundan everday stuff that's seeped into my dream world... otherwise, with the cool, exciting, crazy dreams i have, the majority of the charactersn in those are strangers...
