I appeal to Americans. I'm making a research for my school diploma and I need your help. Please answer my four questions.
1. what do you feel when you hear the word "family"? (the answers can be: cold, warm, etc.)
2. how do you perceive the notion "family"? (friendly, hostile, close, long way off, etc.)
3. what associations do you have with a family? (father, mother, two kids, etc.)
4. how do you define a family? (the family is...)
Please write your age, occupation/major at school.

You don't have to write about your family, just write your general idea of the notion. Thinking about the definition write something like "a union of loving people, social group of people, etc."

1. I feel cold, but disregard that. I've been cold for days. I might as well not be wearing a sweatshirt. Absolutely can't wait for spring... Temperature aside, I feel good. I like my family.

2. I think that all that a family can be is right here in my house, so close I guess. I don't know if that's what you were asking.

3. I, of course, associate with family my own family: mom, dad, siblings, myself, pets

4. I suppose I would say a family is a group of people who fall under that "normal" family guidelines: the parents and children. Of course, a family could be any group of people who consider themselves a family and who sort of fit together in one way or another and can share memories with eachother.

I'm fourteen years old. I'll be fifteen in a couple months, if that makes any difference. I'm a student, babysitter
