I have levels of friendship...and everyone takes the same staircase. It is mostly based upon what they do as they take each step. Or whether they take it for granted or use it for their own selfish means. Keeping in mind that being selfish is human nature but to still acknowledge me and my kindness in the process.

I always choose my friends with care. You never know when one might not be who they say they are. You always have to be careful and hope that you have chosen wisely, to have a friend to last for a long time hopefully.

Very carefully. That's why I have very close friends who number less than 5 and casual friends who number less than 10. I'm a very private person and want to keep it that way. I don't care how close a friend is to you and how much you think you can trust them, if you tell them something and ask them not to tell anyone else, they'll tell someone THEY can trust, lol. It's a vicious circle.

Yes... I believe i do.

There is a certain feeling I get when I meet someone that I think would be a great friend. It's a peaceful feeling, like I don't have to try too hard. I can be me and not have to worry if that's bad or weird or whatever.

I do not choose my friends, they seem to choose me....I keep the ones who are willing to stay because I also let them leave whenever they wish.

Yes, always. I have three that I have known since I was eight and they are awesome. I have to trust someone fully before I consider them a friend.

OH YES!!!!! With a great amount of care...they don't become friends automatically just because they are in my life....these things take time. Great question I admit.
