Yes in Iran it is actually a LAW THAT A MAN'S LIFE WORTH TWICE OF A WOMEN!!!!!! (meaning if a women killed a man, purposely or accidently, it means that she put an end to "two very worthy" lives and her sentence is death!) Atleast in India, that isn't a law!!

Yes, definitly, the social condition of Indian women are better than Arab countries.
NOW-A-DAYS in india, an woman can YELL OUT LOUD for woman's lib, if she want.
She can openly claim out her rights and voice of freedom, if required.
Unlike ARAB countries, doing so, she will be protected by the laws of the country.

some parts of india is westernize. the rural parts treat wome badly.in america however women are still facing sex discrimination too. i see women in america being called a **** a ***** and people feel that women should still play a role in depending on men and being nurses and teachers.

It's bad in some parts becuase of high population. Even if 90% are safe still 10% are left unsafe.
