Why do we whites feel like we have to tiptoe around Jesse Jackson, Al Shartpon, and the all-powerful memory of can-do-no-wrong Martin Luther King? Why do whites kiss up to culture-devoid hip hop artists? Why can't whites instead devote their attention to blacks who actually work to improve the quality of life in the black community instead of blacks who glorify drugs, gang violence and racial division?

Because "Whites" themselves are not a single human being with the will and ability to chose how they will behave towards a given political entity. There are many different types of "Whites" from many different cultural and economic backgrounds. Some from the deep south may consider themselves "brothers", but brotherhood is usually a concept carried amongst the poor who are forced to band together to survive.
I doubt a wealthy "White" stock broker living on Long Island could give a hoot about racial identity or how "Whites", by some magic of shared universal consciousness, are all doing the same thing at the same time. Such a naive concept is prone to be held by colloquial savages who can't assume that life exists beyond their large, in-bred family.

I dont tiptoe around anyone myself and I never have felt the need to do so. I dont "kiss up" to devoid hip hop artists or even listen to hip hop for that matter. We are all individuals who can choose our own path and whoever people choose to devote their attention to is their own business.

What whites that are afraid of blacks are that way simply because whites like you makes blacks like MLK, Jessie Jackson, and myself so active in enforcing racial equality.

Not all whites are, mostly the uptight one who "say" they have black friends and would never go around a black person. Like me, living in the hood, we have each others back.

I resent how you put MLK in the same sentence with sarcastic words like can-do no-wrong, and then add in gang violence and drugs? It is because of MLK that Blacks have restrained themselves and got shot at for nothing. He was a man of peace and God don't like ugly-you are speaking against one of His children!

OR..... you could stop segregating us by color and let us be and come into our own. Race is only an issue if you make it one. I tiptoe around nobody. If you want to be accurate, you need to address the glorified violence and drug use in the young white community. Guess what....Meth is a white thing!
I'm pretty sure the kids that shoot up their schools are typically white too!
