A question about a rather perplexing magic trick.?

Do you know the magic trick where someone puts a glass bottle in a paper bag, screws up the bag and then throws it away? How do they do that? I can't work it out.

Golden is correct. The bottle never goes in the bag. They normally use just the top of the neck of a bottle to push the covering in to make it look like the bottle is still there.
I've also seen a similar trick where they seem to push the bottle through a solid table.
