a guy that i met when i was 15...... we had a very intense on / off relationship that spanned 10 years..... for a while the intensiveness was good, but then he lost himself to alcoholism.... i found out that i couldn't compete with his addiction, or help him break free of it, so i had walk away from the relationship...... i still have some regrets as i'd always thought that he was my soul mate..... but if i wanted to keep my sanity, i had to walk away.
