I have tried but they just didn't listen to reason

Yes I've argued with them before to no avail. I have found that making things up and being all nice about it works better when you are trying to win. This one time I was trying to get this guy to drink some water and eat some bread so he'd sober up and feel better in the morning. Instead of arguing with him I told him I was writing a book about it and needed to use him as an example and I was really nice so he finally agreed. I was drunk too at the time.LOL! You just gotta get creative on their a$$!

There is NO arguing with a drunk. It's a major waste of time and a person could get seriously hurt doing that.

You abosolutely cannot argue with a drunk. It's very frustrating. I don't let them win, I leave.
