doubt it.

If you havent changed it yourself you can try a google search for the routers default username and password. Probably admin admin.

You may have a small button you can press to factory default the router.

Check the manual, I think it explains how to reset your router to factory. It might be that you have to unplug the router and hold down the reset button for a min. When you plug it in, there will be no password set. You can either log on with a new password or just logon without one. The manual will be on the cd that came with it.

hi elle!

most routers have a reset button... i have a linksys and it has a reset button. it's will be a tiny button on the back of the router that you have to use a paperclip or something thin to press.

for my linksys, you hold it down for 10 seconds and the router resets. usually the username is "admin" and password is "admin" or blank. but reseting also resets all settings, not just username and password. but this should allow you to log on to the router and update the firmware.

if you have your manual, look up "reseting the router"

good luck!

Betty

With the router turned on press and hold the reset button for about 7 seconds, this will reset the router to factory defaults. Then you need to reconfigure it again.

Get the manual from the manufacturer website and find out how to reset the router.

Unplug the router and hold down the reset button for one minute. It will reset the router to the factory default settings.

You need to do master reset...

I think if you press and hold down the reset button (you'd have to use a pin) on the router itself it'll default back to factory settings.

Then you User/Admin would be the default when you bought it, usually no password.

look for the tiny needle hole and reset it to the company's default.
then follow your manual.
