the american version and the uk version were edited seperate so there are some things in the uk version that are not in the us version and i would like to get a copy to read to see the diff.

As you will see the UK Bloomsbury Harry Potter books have different covers than the US Scholastic ones. There are also a children's version and adult version of each UK Harry Potter novel. Keep in mind that the UK versions are the original versions JKR wrote. For the US Scholastic versions some changes (with her permission) were made to the books to make them more assessible to her American audience. For the most part these changes involve word substititions or different word spellings.

surely very few rewording of words basic contained in the united kingdom that wouldnt make sence to maximum contained in the U. S.. also some change spellings of words were the same note is spelled in a unique way contained in the U. S. from the united kingdom. As for the web page adjustments that's likley a count number number of smaller typeset or truly better web page length or both
