I love my husband very much- but I'm constantly seeing other people on this site make snide comments about their spouses appearance or personality or whatever..

If you hate them that much, why don't you have the decency to at least divorce them and set you both free before you go out talking your crap? If you aren't willing to divorce, then suck it up and deal with it..

Be a bit more humane??

Why should I have any sympathy for the slime that will answer a question with "I'm only attracted to girls that DON'T look like my wife.."

Better to pay for one household than two.

That's quite a soap box you've climbed onto there! How long have you been married? Do you really feel justified lecturing people on their marriages when you know nothing about them? A lot of people have issues you could only imagine. Just because you love you huband very much, dosen't mean it's that easy for everyone else. Maybe think about that question in another 10 years and let us know how you feel then.

Ouch! Kinda insensitive there. I think many people stay in a bad relationship coz they have no other choice. I also think that this may be a forum for them to release stress that they cant otherwise release. I say we cut them some slack and try to be a bit more humane.

Don't know. Don't hate my husband, just get irritated with him. He's too clingy sometimes.Like a 150-pound tumor, y'know - lol! But I can see where circumstances might make it necessary to stick with someone, even if you don't much like them anymore. Property, money, kids, inability to survive on your own (for whatever reason) - there are all sorts of reasons. Not mine to judge.

Your solution to the problem is not that simple.
I was verbally abused by ex for 18 years. I lost confidence as I was identifying myself by him. Many times couples considered the well being of the kids. Its is also the habit & women become codepnedant.
Thank God my husband infidelity gave me the guts to walk away from miserable marriage.

Do we have the skills to work through problems and forgive each other?
Did we choose the right person for the right reasons in the first place?
Did we have the ability to grow with each other?
Did we mistake physical compatibility with total compatibility, like me?

Because divorce is a Sin and it goes against decency, but decency is not a thing this society understands.

I agree but I stayed married to a man who made me sick everyday for financial reasons. I finally left and married my sweetheart!

Bitching about your spouse is a national pasttime!

You're right, though I'm not married but I do this....leaving is easier said then done...I won't even to begin to make all my excuses....cause that's all they are. Who knows why I do the things I do :)

i agree-i feel that when you start a relationship you should be able to be open honest and deal w/ situations privately its strange to me people who break that trust by speaking ill words about the one person you should be able to share everything w/-it would break my heart to know if my love spoke poorly of me
but we are lucky to be able to have a wonderful honest and open relationship i love him dearly
