i have read so many answers to these spotting questions. Is it normal to spot and be preganant ( if you don't know that you are pregnant) , and if so how come i don't have any morning sicknesses etc like my last pregnancy. I have never spotted before until after having sex 3 days ago. I had my cycle on Dec 25, so is it not too soon for another one
took the pregnant test and it's negative... so what could this be?

Hello there.
I would not go so far as to say that it is "normal" to spot during pregnancy but it certainly does happen and it is often no cause for alarm. I would not, however consider it a symptom of pregnancy. If you don't have any other symptoms of pregnancy I would not assume that you are pregnant.
It is too soon for a urine test to be positive if you had a period on December 25th. It is possible that you could get your doctor to order a blood test but unless you have some urgent reason to need to know whether or not you are pregnant I think she would want to wait until your period is actually late.
It seems to me premature to be thinking that you could be pregnant. Of course any month that you have made love there is that possibility but I would wait until your period is actually late to take another test.
Good luck to you.

unless you are in labor--bleeding or spotting during pregnancy is not normal.

pregnancy 'symptoms' like morning sickness wont show up until you are 4-6 or 8 weeks along.

Sometimes its just nothing, sometimes you will spot. If it continues I'd try going to the doc. and seeing what they say.

IF YOU ARE ON THE PILL IT MAY JUST BE BREAKTHROUGH BLEEDING. IF IT GOES ON OR GETS WORSE TALK TO YOUR DOC.
