Don't know of your relationship with your mom that you find it uncomfortable in revealing this information to her . . . But, tell her the same way you told her you lost a tooth when you were younger. Just go up to her and say "Mom, I've started having my periods and I wanted you to know".
From there let the conversation flow naturally with any questions etc.
Celebrate you being a woman. Having a period means you've stepped on the world of being a woman, not a girl. Be responsible with your heart, body, sexuality. Celebrate that having a period indicates...You will develop the gift and beauty of curves only a woman has . . .That one day you will have the choice to experience being pregnant, feel a baby grow within you, have the feelings only a mother has...celebrate this moment...don't just think of it as having a period.
Be celebrating of your developing womanhood and be responsible with your self value as you grow.
Congratulations.

Oh I know how you feel I I think I just got my period a few days ago and telling my mom was kind of hard. I would suggest having a conversation with her and while your talking just say it.She will understand and maybe share a story or two with you thats what my mom did. The hardest part is mustering up the power to just say but when you do you will feel so relieved! Trust me!!

It's a shame that girls can't get their periods, without fearing how their mother will react.... THIS is natural. She knew it would happen eventually. Girls need to be able to go to their mothers with every & any problem. This is why there are so many problems with teenage pregnancy. No one can talk to their parents anymore. Tell her to come up to your room, because you have something to tell her, then tell her. If you are scared, leave her a letter or send her a text message. These are just other suggestions.

Every girl gets their periods sooner or later.Natural & nothing to be ashamed of. Your mother was a girl who went through this very thing. She is likely expecting the news to come so go tell her. Time you ttwo had a chat. She is truly the best friend you will ever have. In the end she is the one you need.

if no one ever showed you how to use a tampon then use a pad for now. depend on how heavy you are you can decide to choose your own size. and just let your mom know how you are feeling and when the time is right you can tell her. it's normal to be scared. my mom found out without me telling her haha. but just make sure you drink a lot of water and keep yourself clean and change out your tampon/pad every 2-4 hours when you need to.

You just tell her.She had to go through the same thing as you with her mom.You need to let her know so she can get your personal needs. Don't be scared. This is part of being a woman.

just tell her that you have your period, she'll understand because she has been a girl like you too, and you said you are at someone's house, talk to that person's mom and i'm sure that she will be really happy to help you

First, calm down. Next, say," guess what mom! I'm not
your little girl any more." Seriously, just tell her honey. She
has been waiting for this day since the day you were born.
She'll tell you everything you need to know.

You can buy tampones at most stores and knowbody has to know, but tell your mom and she will know what to do and will help you. Dont be ebarest to ask her it will be ok
