I'm not sure you measured quite right, if you got those measurements around. Stores like Dillard's and Victoria's Secret will measure you for free.

If that's not an option, have your mom or a friend use a measuring tape and measure the circumference of your ribcage (underneath your breasts). Then take a second measurement going around your torso again, only this time take the tape across the fullest part of your breasts. The difference tells you your cup size, while the first measurement tell you your bra size.
If the difference is:
<1 in = AA
1 in = A
2 in = B
3 in = C
4 in = D
5 in = DD or E
6 in = DDD or F
7 in = DDDD or G

So, for example, if your first measurement was 32 in, and your second was 34 in, your bra size would be a 32 B.

You measured incorrectly. Bra sizes don't come in 12 or 14. They come in the measurement of the circumference of the chest right below the breasts (in even numbers, typically from 32 and up) and then in the appropriate cup size (a,b,c,d,dd,ddd,e, etc.) I would recommend going to a bra shop (victorias secret is the most popular) and getting measured for the correct size. Measuring the for the proper size at home can be a bit difficult.

Go to Victoria's Secret and they will measure you...they're really helpful and they don't make you feel uncomfortable at all.
