If you broke a toilet seat at yours or someone else's house, then you need to buy a new and stronger toilet seat. If you broke a public toilet, leave the bathroom and exit the building as fast as you can. Chances are that the owners/operators of a place in public would get extremely P. O.ed and swindle you out of more money than a toilet seat is worth.

Home depot, Lowes, even Walmart carry replacements. Go forth and retrieve one. Apply it. Be more careful next time.
