How do i UN-enable my iPod for Disc Use?

I activated my iPod for disc use and now, every time I plug it in to a docking station connected to my home stereo, the computer connects to the iPod as a storage device and the music stops playing. I have already disabled the "Enable for Disc Use" option on the iPod, but that did nothing.

If this doesn't work, restore it to factory settings. The directions for that are at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983

Once you restore and sync the first time, it should fix your problem. I hope this helps.
