No, actually if you are trying to do this through self will or on your own, youl'll be drunk soon. Ask God to do for you what you can't do for yourself and go to a meeting. 13 days is a great start, but you'll need some support, too.
If you can have ONE chilled beer, go right ahead. If not, go to a meeting.

Not sure what you'd do with all the medals you'll get as you continue to abstain from drinking alcohol, but here's a pat on the back. You should be SO proud of yourself! Congrats for being so successful in reaching one of your personal goals, to stay away from alcohol on a daily basis!!

if you have a dependence and are attempting to quit then everyday is a small victory. keep up the good work. Dont worry about a medal or any other prize. your health both physical and mental will be reward enough. plus think of the money you will save.

Yes i award you the clear headed I can remember what day it is medal!!
I've only been 2 days - but feel much better. Besides the bottle bank was full and the shelves in the local supermarket were empty- they couldn't keep up with me!!
