i put an outdor snail into a small dish of water. what will happen next?

Land snails can evidently hold their breath a while because I have had them fall into small pools that I rehab turtles in and the ones that didn't get eaten by the turtle crawled out and away.

I imagine you acquire a male and lady (apple snails are literally not hermaphrodites like ramshorn snail) the female climbed out the water, laid vivid pink eggs, those eggs hatched and also you acquire babies.

That's not very ncie of you. But I think it will struggle to escape the dish of water. It hates water and kelp as well! So there you have it!

it will die. you placed it in a hypotonic solution so water will flow into the cells in the snail and burst.

land-dwelling snails have lungs. it will drown. i hope you are happy now!
