Not just opinions...someone who knows for a fact, please.

Well...probably will have to go on opinions, but ???
Thought I'd listen to News on CNN for a change (just for a little while...) and I notice the volume of the Ads are blowing me out of my seat... so turn it down, then next, I can't hear what's being reported... Other newschannels aren't doing this. Anyway...it was making me nuts! So had to change the channel... Just thought I'd ask... (Maybe they're fiddling with it or something?)

Yeah right... Could be my hearing aid needs adjusting too? (Chuckle!)

I think all commercials have turned up the volume on all networks. It's not your imagination. I always have to turn the volume down during commercials, and back up when the show I'm watching comes back on. The market out there is trying to get our attention.

Wow! You are so right about that. I am so tired of my television. I thought I had a volume control problem but obviously you just narrowed that down!

I am so tired of turning up the tv so i can hear it then the next thing you know I'm deaf.

In listening I can't tell audibly. Because it appears that some stations are about as loud on their commercials. It's amazing how one commercial can be soft and the next can be blaring on the same station.

I just tooned in to CNN and there is a commercial on now. I don;t think the volume is any higher than the channel I was watching before tuning in to CNN.

They're messing with you. They'll turn the volume down slowly so you'll keep raising volume little by little. When you got your volume up all the way, they blast their volume high to make your speakers blow out. .
