Did you have one or multiple instances of deja vu? I've had a feeling of deja vu many times. Like in 5th grade i had a dream that we would learn about geometry but the teacher was different. The next day i completly forgot the dream and then last Friday (a year after the dream) i had feeling of deja vu in my 6th grade Math class were my NEW teacher was telling us about angles in our geometry unit. Tell me about your experiences with deja vu. The one with either the most instances or the most interesting answer gets the 10 pts.

Yes most are from dreams, My most recent was my wife's digital camera got stolen and I had a dream I was floating in the clouds and came falling down thru my sis in laws roof thru her closet and under her shoes in a brown paper bag was my wifes camera. So I asked her son when he went to her house to check there for the camera and low and behold it was there one of the weirdest instances of all but I had spent many hours of thinking on where that camera could be.

Over the years I have experienced deja vu many many times. Several instances are identical. It's hard to keep track of them all. I must have a couple dozen different recurring deja vus. I dont write them down, and they seem to fade away like dreams, but the next time I get it, I know its been experienced several times before.

Yes I have experienced deja vu. The most memorable time was when I was in fifth grade. I dreamt that I was dancing in a room made of brick, with bars on the windows, and a wooden floor. And my partner was a lady in a yellow dress.
A few months later I started social ballroom dancing with my parents at the local tennis club.
That same night I found myself dancing in a room made of brick with bars on the windows and a wooden floor. And my partner was a lady in a yellow dress.
No I am not gay.
I have had other experiences since. But for some reason if I can see it happening, it won't happen in actuality.

Yes we've all had deja vu many times. But I don't think we ever have the "dream" in the first place. I think we experience a temporarily altered state of awareness (like being under the influence of a drug) where we only FEEL as if we already dreamed of or experienced the event in question. I experience it every single day, but in some way it does help me. It is kind of weird, like for example this little boy lost his toy and I knew exactly where it was...weird huh!
