I've noticed there have been a lot of celebrities either breaking up with someone or hooking up with someone right at the time when they need a little extra publicity (ex: Justin Timberlake breaking up with Cameron Diaz right around his movie release). Do you think they do it on purpose or is it just coincidence?

I was just talking with my wife about this yesterday. Its sad but true - SOME celebrities do this to advance their careers. Its cold, but its true. Personally, I would NEVER do this - I want to keep my "soul" - if you know what I mean.

Absolutely. I also think a lot of 'celebrity relationships' are just for the media - orchestrated by their publicists for a movie or album promotion, etc.
But Justin broke up as he is going on tour - old habits, die hard.
