A lot of these people are right. Colostrum, which usually starts out clear and then turns a milkish color, can start being produced when a woman is pregnant, but I wouldn't expect that to start until she is clearly pregnant, especially when naked. I'm 6-and-a-half months pregnant though, and I still have a lot of people tell me they didn't know I was pregnant so I think it depends on how you carry the baby and where you gain your weight.
I've been producing colostrum for some time, and it looks a little like milk now and would probably come out if you were caressing my breasts. If there was a whole bunch of it, then it was probably true milk, but often, I produce enough colostrum, especially if you massage my breasts or apply pressure, that it clearly runs out of my breast and can look like quite a bit of fluid (it usually pools on my sheets at night and wakes me up), considering it isn't really milk. When women are producing milk though, some women's milk can literally gush out unexpectedly and become quite embarrassing if they aren't wearing padded bras, so there's usually a difference in how much of it you would see. The amount of fluid produced depends on the woman though; my mom produced a lot of colostrum when she was pregnant, while some women produce very litte or none before they give birth, and the same is true for milk production. For hormonal reasons though, it's possible for some women to produce milk, or some kind of fluid, even when they aren't pregnant or nursing. I've heard that some women continue to produce milk occasionally, and usually with embarrassing consequences, for years after having a baby--especially if they are around babies or children a lot.
Aside from that, there could be a hormonal problem that caused her to produce milk when she's never been pregnant in her life, or I would think an abortion or miscarriage could have resulted in her breasts producing colostrum and/or milk. Sometimes female hormones will continue to cause a woman's body to behave as though she is pregnant even after a miscarriage.
I think the best course is to ask *her*, even though it might be embarrassing for one or both of you. Remember that producing fluid in the breasts is a natural part of biology, but the physical and hormonal reasons for it can vary. Of course, depending upon your level of relationship with her and the circumstances involved, she may or may not feel comfortable sharing, and you may need to be very sensitive.
If she had a baby when she was very young or she has suffered a miscarriage, she may be very emotional about it for quite a while or even for the rest of her life and it may not be easy for her to talk about. A miscarriage can be particularly devastating, since many women feel that they have permanently lost a part of themselves, and the abrupt, unnatural hormonal changes that occur during miscarriage likely increase this problem.
Good luck!

A woman can produce milk during pregnancy, but it isn't really milk. It is a clear or yellowish liquid called colostrum, which will eventually change to milk 2 to 4 days after she delivers. I would talk to the woman...she should know if she is pregnant or not. If you don't know her well, it could be she already has a baby that she breastfeeds. Either way, you just need to ask her!

Well she could be pregnant I starting producing milk or colostrum when I was about 5 or 6 months pregnant but you would probably be showing by the time you were able to "squirt" milk, she may have had a baby recently.

She could be pregnant; she could be lactating post-pregnancy. Other possibilities are that she has a hormonal imbalance or a pituitary problem, both of which can cause lactation not related to preganancy.
P.S. Yes, some women do produce a little breast milk, or colostrum, while they are still pregnant. At that stage of pregnancy, however, the woman would be very obviously pregnant.

It doesn't start until after the birth of a baby. Not even while she's pregnant. Almost immediatly after a baby is born, the mother produces colostrum. A few days after that is when the breast begins to produce milk.

Hello there.
Cita8200 has it right. The "milk" that women produce late in pregnancy and right after the baby is born, is not actually milk. Real milk is produced when a mother is nursing a baby and sometimes for quite awhile after she has stopped nursing.
It is not uncommon for a breastfeeding mother to have milk actually squirt or drip out during lovemaking or orgasm.
Good luck

She must of had a baby recently. I still could squeeze milk out after I stopped breastfeeding for a few months. Milk usually does not come out unless the baby is already born. I would not think she is pregnant but I do think she recently had a baby in the last year or so.

When women are pregnant, it is colostrum, not milk coming out of their breasts untill couple of days after delivery. But friend of mine wasn't pregnant and had fluid coming out of her breasts, which doctor said was caused by hormon imbalance.

It means she had a baby. Most women don't produce milk until they have had a child!
