A lot of people put a lot of faith into horoscopes and the zodiac. Others, and I will confess to being one of them, think its simply a bunch of huey. So my question is, has anybody ever tried to quantify whether or not horoscopes are a good prediction of either the present or possible future for oneself or for a relationship? I will confess also that sometimes when I read these things, I get the impression that the person who wrote them had nothing better to do with their time than to think up random pieces of wisdom to impart to readers who want to believe in something.
This question should not be inferred to be limited to a specific zodiac, so please answer for any that you wish. The Chinese zodiac (and probably others which I am not familiar with) would likely be interpreted very differently from the western style zodiac, and quite possibly would receive different answers.

I think the daily horoscopes are a bunch of crap...but whenever I read about my zodiac characteristics they are right on. Although, i guess if they throw a bunch of characteristics at you they are bound to get one right.

I'd like to know exactly what kind of force comes from the globes of rock or gas and why this can be use to predict the future. The only possible forces are either gravity or electromagnetism. The physics are just not possible.
The ancient people had no accurate calenders, or clocks. No time zones, and knowledge of longitude or latitude. Most were illiterate and a lot did not know birth year let alone birthdays. Now some include comets in the forecasting along with some asteriods. A dirty snowball has a force on you... sure.

Hey I'm not a big Horoscopes person but one kind of scopes I like are bloodscopes like horoscopes but kooler. Like the are only four different types and they depened on you blood type for more info go to my friend and my site http://supersweetscopes.homestead.com/ but she has not finished the horoscopes so there is only bloodscopes but still kool well I thing and a advice column.

it depends on who you trust to read you as in horoscopes...if you do read various readers ...you will see they are all different. so find one you trust and stick with that one.
