I have a PSP and I can't figure out how to put music on it, can you help?

I've had this PSP for a while but I still can't figure out how to put music on it. Can somebody help me? And could you please put it in step-by-step form? Also, I already made the PSP and MUSIC folder, but the PSP is not reading the music when I try to put it in the folders! Please help.

1. Connect the PSP to comp.
2. Make a music folder inside the PSP folder.
3. Put the music(mp3s i hope) in the MUSIC folder.

If your software version is higher than 2.73 make a MUSIC folder directly on the disk(not inside the PSP folder). Put the mp3s on wmvs in that folder.
