Your 1st cousin's kids are your first cousins once removed. Their kids are your first cousins twice removed.

Trust me, I'm right. I looked this up a long time ago to find out about my cousin's daughter.

No, he could be your (if Tracy is ur 1st cousin) 1st cousin as quickly as bumped off. "as quickly as bumped off" potential there's a era distinction between U. as an occasion, Your 1st cousin two times bumped off could be your cousin Tracy's son's toddler. considering which you're interior the comparable era as Tracy, that's 2 generations bigger than Tracy's son's toddler. i become in basic terms looking those issues up the day gone by! humorous U ought to ask. Take care!

Children of your 1st cousins are your 1st cousins once removed.
Grandchildren of your 1st cousins are your 1st cousins twice removed, etc.

Your children and the children of your 1st cousins would be 2nd cousins to each other. The children of 2nd cousins are 3rd cousins, etc.

As for JaymeLeaf's scenario below, her cousin's kids are her first cousins once removed. Her kids would be her cousin's kids second cousins. If someone is your third cousin, that means that one of your parents and one of their parents were second cousins, one of your grandparents and one of their grandparents were first cousins, and one of your great-grandparents and one of their great-grandparents were siblings, thus you would have one great-great-grandparent in common (most likely two, but it doesn't have to be if the siblings were half-brothers, half-sisters, or half-brother/half-sister).

I dont know. its confusing! I was told that my cousins kids are my second cousins, and therefore, my kids would be my cousin's kids 3rd cousins. I have also been told that my cousins grandkids (as mentioned in your scenerio) would be my 3rd cousins. So is someone is your 3rd cousin, it either means that their grandparent is your parents' first cousin, or that their parent is your parents first cousin. see, im confused too!!

They'd be your 4th cousins. It's hardly counted as a relative.
