Oh my god, she is the greatest writer since toni morrison. if you like toni morrison's books, you'll love edwidge danticat. those are excellent books, they have great stories that pull you in and really get you lost in the novel. also, the farming of bones and dew breakers are SOOOOO good. good reads ahead! just a word of warning: some of the descriptions of life in haiti can be pretty disturbing in terms of military violence (torture, genocide, rape, etc.)

aww she's such a talented writer! and the books you mentioned are very good,with interesting moving plots. you can also check out Behind the mountains, or Dew breaker or other works of her
