They are so different and play different styles of music so I wouldn't say either is better. Peart is the KING of prog. rock and odd time signatures where as Copeland was in a "punk" band and was VERY groove oriented. His reggae back beats were astounding. The song "Spirits In The Material World" is fantastic - he only hits one cymbal in the entire song right at the end in the fade out. Brilliant

They are both amazing so I wouldn't say one is better.
