I don't think he'd last too long. He's tough as nails and is a legit fighter, but his body is so beat up and all of his injuries have been broadcast around the world a million times over.
Everyone knows that if you go after his neck, you've found a major weakness and he'd fight to try and protect his neck too much. There is no doubt in my mind that he is one of the most intense, tough, hard-nosed guys in the world but I think he's taken too much abuse to be able to hold up in that kind of environment.
Wrestling is hard enough, because no matter what people say it's not fake. You can't fake falling off the top rope and you can't fake getting slammed onto concrete. He's put himself through a lot to entertain and I think that cost him any chance his body would have had of surviving in that type of environment.

Its really debated, however, me being a HUGE MMA fan since the early days of Royce and Shamrock in the early 90s, Kurt is technically too old to xtrain. Look at Randy Couture. GREAT wrestler, hes hold and still a champ, however, he started his MMA Career in 97. That means that he started cross training before that.
As far as the famous Hammer House which includes Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman, these guys were GREAT guys in there era, but nowadays, MMA is more about being the mixed martial arts and there is no longer a single dominate style. a successful fighter must be knowledgable in all types of combat.
If Kurt began his journey into MMA 5 years ago, he would have had a great chance. Now, he is way too banged up and injured for the sport. WWE even had to drop him because they worried for his health.

Kurt Angle is a great wrestler and all but imagine him in the ring with a striker. I got two letters for ya. KO! You can't just compare him to Ken Shamrock who also has a pro wrestling WWE background because Shamrock did mixed martial arts before WWE. But you never know because Angle might work hard and become one of the best wrestlers in UFC one day. He already has that passion and intensity.

i dont think he will make it all the way but he might win a few. i think he is too wrestling sided to win a championship against alot of well rounded or even strikers. also depends on his submission skills.

I think he'd do ok, but suffer against the bigger harder stand up punches. Don't forget he's also a lot older then a lot of the guys in there.
