My son upgraded his '93 Camry with what he called vador 5s tires. The car is mine now. He always kept the tires at 35 psi. The tire themselves say max 51 psi, which I just tried at my dad's insistance. But that's proving to be a bumpy ride and my son is certain that's too high. I've found that the 35 psi is okay but 30 is way low. I notice the difference. The sticker inside the door that I've read so much about is long gone. My son thought it should be 35 psi. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge of the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure that used to be on a sticker inside the door? We're at 40 ft and I sometimes drive to 300 ft and the weather has been ranging between 20 and 65 (in case that matters). I want to put it somewhere between the car recommendation and the max psi.

35 to 40 psi is a good area watch your tires for wear if they wear in just the center over inflated if they wear on just the edges under inflated

I would say 35 psi should be fine. The pressure marked on the tire is a maximum for that tire. The same tire probably fits several different makes and models of cars and would have different pressure recommendations according to application and driving conditions.

Didn't we just have this question yesterday?

If the tires are the OE size then you absolutely stick with what it says on the door placard.

THAT'S WHY IT IS THERE!

I'm not sure how it could have disappeared since it is riveted to the body. If the door placard is not there then look in the owners manual.

Camry pressure recommendations differ with model year and OE tire size so it pays to go to the source and not ask a bunch of anonymous know-nothings on some web page.

YOU CAN'T PAY ATTENTION TO THAT STICKER ON THE DOOR SINCE THAT IS FOR FACTORY TIRES.IF 35 IS GOOD WITH YOU I WOULD KEEP IT AT THAT.I USUALLY FILL MY FRONT TIRES WITH 4-5 PUNDS MORE AIR PRESSURE THEN THE BACK BECAUSE THE AZZ END IS ALOT LIGHTER.IF YOU HAVE ALOT OF WEIGHT IN THE BACK THEN KEEP IT HIGHER BUT 30REAR AND 35 FRONT IS A GOOD RIDE AND GAS MILEAGE.

32 to 35 is fine in the summer when its hot ties gain air pressure and loose it in the winter so just check them at least once and a while once a month

Look in the car manual if you still have that. Or try looking for the operator's manual online.

It should say on the rim of the tires themselves.
