What do I do to find out when my date was so i don't get a failure to appear?

I would be sure to write letters and take them to the courthouse. Have a clerk sign-off on them saying that you showed up and that they were unable to provide you with the date.

Thank would give you some proof that you have made an attempt, whereas if you just make phone calls, you don't have any proof. You need to create a paper-trail, so they can't come after you.

Go down there in person and make the effort, and get peoples names,that way you can justify your actions in attempting to locate your court date. It can't be that hard......
