I like a lot of European films such as "Snatch", "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrells"(both British), "La Femme Nikita" (French)the list goes on and on but Hollywood hasn't put out an original movie in years, they are all sequels, remakes of old movies or TV shows or based on video games anything else. I think the talent in writing pools is at an all time low. I am American but I get tired of all the processed junk that the big studios here try to force down our throats.

Although american movies are more commercial, i prefer europeans. From the american movies ive seen, they seem to follow the same pathern.what i mean is that the story can be a diferent one,but it follows the same "rules". for ex.: police movies are always the same, the police guy has some issues, doesnt have a close family or lost his wife, lousy job, etc. In president movies, the president is always the hero and his family is always in danger and there are always russians and other mobs involved. European have more sense and has more to with the daily life or history.its something you can always relate yourself with. Ive seen portuguese, spanish, french and british movies and they were all great.Had beggining, developing and end. i dont say this because im european, but because ive seen alot of movies and american ones are quite predictable.

European, although I'm American. I like the British comedies, and the French films. For example, I love Absolutely Fabulous (British) and Blue, White, and Red (French). These are but two examples, although I have many. Why? I like the humor of the British, and the artistry of the French.
