is it too hairy?

i think my pubic area is way more hairy than most other females my age, but i don't really know what a normal amount is. i just think i am way too hairy down there, but i want the advice/opinion of another female...will someone please help???

Hun, you seem kind of young in your picture, I don't know how old you may be, but please be careful when you ask this type of question. (Which isn't wrong to ask).

You can get a lot of perverted guys after you. I also wouldn't recommend sharing your email with everyone. Your pic might create more unwanted attention as well, or possible recognition at school. I wouldn't want anyone to embarrass you.

The pic is up to you, but why not just allow private emails?

There is nothing like 'normal' growth of hair. It all depends on ones genes. What you can do is to compare notes with your mom or sister or close female relation, so that you would be reassured that you dont have any abnormal growth.
You may receive a lot of advice to shave/wax pubic hair, as that seems to be the current trend, propogated by the porn industry. In actual fact, pubic hair serves a very useful purpose. It is there to give much needed air circulation in the area and to absorb harmful bacteria from entering your vagina. It also helps to retain useful bacteria. Shaving would only result in sweat accumulating on the skin. With the synthetic, close fitting panties worn nowadays, one tends to get infection in the area if one shaves all the hair. Besides, shaving also results in rash and prickly growth of new hair.
As someone has mentioned earlier, pubic hair in their woman is liked by a lot of men. Presence of pubic hair also helps in generation of pheromones which attract the opposite sex. Whatever people may say, pubic hair needs to be retained by both sexes, even if some claim that it is not good for oral sex.
Whether one retains all the hair, or trims it , or waxes it, or shaves it completely, is one's choice. Having chosen one option, it is always necessary to wash the hair area with plain non-medicated soap daily, irrespective of the choice made, twice if possible, to avoid any type of infection. Despite the 'clean look' which waxing or shaving gives, the area needs to be kept cleaned all the time, even when one is not having her periods. A little care in this respect would save a lot of problems later.

Leave it alone. If you need to shave, just clean up the bikini line. Honestly, I think guys have forgotten what a real woman looks like, given the popularity of the Brazillian look.
