Excellent!
It's not extremely complicated, the only thing you must do is to feel the music and follow your partner... Ah, something else: stop believing only people from the Caribbean countries and Latinos can dance salsa. I have French, German, Swiss, Norwegian, Australian, Italian, Belgium, and American friends, among others, who dance salsa in a very skilled way.

Doing any type of dance is easy, if you have someone to teach you the basics of dancing balance. Dancing balance is totally different then basic balance. Usually dancing requires the girls to move around alot, and be on the toes.

Once you have the balance down, then you can learn pretty much any dance out there. And salsa? Forget about it being difficult! If you have the right teacher(s), and the right music, then it's one of the easiest dances to learn, I've found out.

I've been dancing since I was about 13(give or take a year), and I love to dance to latin music, more then i do hip-hop/rap, or country. I don't dance professinally, but if I really wanted to, I probly could.

Good luck to you! And remember, nothing is ever as hard, or easy, as it seems! Make sure you put your heart into it, otherwise you can look like a fish out of water, just flopping around on the dancefloor!!

I've been dancing now for roughly six months, and I love salsa - It can be very sexy and sensuous. It is very enjoyable and really makes you aware of your body. If you are having doubts or queries about salsa I would urge you to try it out.

I am only 15 and i am finding class relatively easy to pick up the steps. Confidence is essential!

Salsa steps:

Main step for girl is:
right foot back
together
left foot forward
together
(put weight on the foot being moved but don't move your axis)

(Guys' feet are opposite)

Tips:

Be able to spin on your axis very quickly and gracefully.

Have good balance and intuition on where your partner is leading you.

If the man is doing side steps, it is better for the girl to salsa in place which creates a sexy "hip" motion.

LEARN LATIN MOTION! It is terrible to see a girl salsa by swinging her hips out on a straight leg. It is better to step on a bent leg and then straighten it out when stepping together. This makes the latin motion (not hip swinging).

Salsa is a showoff's dance. The better you are, dancing by yourself, the better you will look with a partner.

p.s. This is my favorite dance next to Argentine tango.

It's street dance, similar to (some would say identical with) mambo, and compared to the latter, it's easier, because as a street dance it doesn't have the necessity of technique in the more formalized dances. Video clips are ubiquitous, and a lot of clubs have a beginner's lesson before the dancing starts. Go have fun. After you've tried it a little, some formal instruction will pay dividends.

Equal portions of tomato, red bell, green bell, onion. Add some cilantro, salt, lemon juice and jalepeno... This is a recipe that I have used for years and always had rave reviews. I have a mini manual food chopper to cut it up but you could manually dice and mix... Oh, don't forget the garlic...........mmmmmmmmmm
