a few pointers to think about:
1) there's vast land on the west side of the great salt lake that's owned by the military & is closed to the public.
2) some of the jets that are now in use, where origionally tested at Hill AF, in northern utah.
3) Utah's not commonly thought of a place to hide military secrets, i.e., testing of "flying saucers" & such not can go on in private while everyone's looking in the nevada or new mexico desert
