Im not sure how best to approach this-I've had my suspicions for some time, but today i found evidence - in a locker in her room! She had taken Jewellwery, makeup and ceramics from me! I wondered where they had gone to and thought she may have them. I went into her room and found them there, Im in shock!The problem is, I dont want to let on that Ive been mistrustful enough to search in her room!! How do I approach this difficult situation?

Tell her you're missing some things and you're wondering if she's seen them. If she denies it, ask her if she'd mind if you just searched the house to see if you accidentally misplaced it somewhere... and then look in her room. Or just go in the locker and take your stuff back and keep it locked up somewhere where she cannot take it again.

You need to tell her she just broke the 8th Commandment: Thou shall not steal. If she were to die today and face God, He would see her as a thief. I don't believe God allows thieves into Heaven. She needs to repent of her sins toward God and trust Jesus to save her from God's wrath. Otherwise, she is in danger of hellfire.

Take your stuff back, change the locks and start packing her stufff up. then give her the want ads, and tell her to go find another house mate.

You have to be direct otherwise she will keep stealing and her habit will get worse. And if she says "Oh i was only borrowing it" ask her why she didn't ask you first...That girl needs a lesson taught that she shouldn't steal..God bless...x

call your local law enforcement at the non emergency number, may be you can get them involved it might prevent the situation from getting ugly

Id get rid of her. Sounds like she's envious of you, and wants to be you. Tell her that her actions tell a story of her insecurities.

You can't press charges, because you can't prove anything in a court of law. Have her clothes and crap outside, and when she asks why, tell her.

tell that you notice that items are coming up missing and you don't know why,then she will know that you are on to her with out you accusing her..
