How come no one is writin my newspaper?

On millsberry i went to that newspaper game no one is writin my newspaper. i have 8 writers and 8 editors but no one is actually writin my newspaper. how do i make them write it

To get writers to write stories you have to go to the New Scoops room and select the stories that you want to write. If you have 8 writers you can select 8 stories that you want written.

If you don't have scoops nobody will write but you probably are experiencing what I did at first. Check how much money you have. If you have no money, nobody will work because they are not getting paid.
