a male friend of mine says he has a busy work life cuz he works 2 jobs which makes it hard for him to stay in touch regularly(i think its crap)anyway when he called me last week i invited him over to hang out with me and he said sure he,d like to come spend time with me,well today is the day hes supose to come by and he hasnt even called all week.real friends dont act like this.should i be upset with him?

2 jobs is hard. He's probably really stressed. If he doesnt come ask him about it. But try to give him a break and reach out to him.

Maybe he really is too busy. He should at least call and let you know if he is coming or not. A phone call takes 10 seconds. Just tell him when he thinks he has time call you. Move on find new friends.

I've been in that position before. There's to explications to this. Either he's really nice and don't want to say no to you, even though he wants to or, he's just really busy and totally forgot about it. I would just call him and see what's going on, remind him what was suppose to happen today. Good luck~

no calm down, he's your friend why would he lie about having two jobs? having two jobs is very time consuming, and if you want to be a good friend try to be very understanding and adjust to his current situation, therefore you can find the right time to hang out or keep in touch with him

have you tried calling him? did ya'll decide on a time?
it's okay to be upset because he stood you up, but you REALLY don't know if he's as busy as he says. you can't be upset for something that your not sure of. besides, if he's really as busy as he says he is, and your being upset at him for it, then you would be the bad friend.

Ummm yeah! He obviously doesn't care about you. If he did, he would find 2 minutes in the day, to at least call you and explain himself.

YES BECAUSE HE'S ONLY USING YOU AS A BACK UP FRIEND. IF HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND, HE'D FIND THE TIME TO TALK TO YOU AND SPEND WITH YOU.
