When you find out let me know . My son had a house before he got married and his wife had a townhouse. He put her name on the house , but the townhouse only has her name on it. She decoded now That she wants to be a party girl again. I hope he does not loose his home for this slut. She has almost put them in bankrupcy from her consent spending. He was doing the right things and he is going to be the one who pays. The laws sure are not fair.

With both names on the deed, chances are you'll both be fighting for that house. The outcome will be one of you will be awarded the house or made to sell it and split the cash.

If both names are on the deed, then both people get to split the equity. Perhaps if you just ask her, she'll sign something saying she didn't help but the house.

No it won't. Whomever is on the deed is considered and owner. If you should divorce, one could buy out the other, or you would have to sell and split the profits.

More then likely half would be hers since her name is on the title as well.
