Why don't you just go by one name to alleviate any confusion at all? Either name is acceptable.

Just say Hello, and let them do the rest.
If it's your friends, they'll usually recognize your voice and call you Anita.
If it's business, they'll usually ask to speak to Andrea.
If you have caller ID, then you can use the appropriate name response when you answer the phone.

I'd record it as humorous sort of, something like "Hello, this is Andrea "slash" Anita, please leave me a message as I am unavailable at..." Some thing such as that may work. Or maybe "Hello, this is Andrea to my friends you know me as Anita please leave. ..." You could say "Hello this is Ms. A Garcia, please leave..." (I just chose a Hispanic last name in assumption, sorry). Or explain to your friends you are going to use your work name as to avoid any confusion.

if you arte in america, you go by Andrea when people say your name. you have to sighn all pepers and such using your birth name. for example, at school, chinese kids have thier real name in the school information and riole numbers ect., but teachers call out thier american name instead and the kids write thier american names on thier homework and are called by thier american name by not just friends, but every one. on phones, they are adressed by thier american name too.

back even as i grow to be in highschool my pals and that i did a touch skit on my voicemail truly performing like i grow to be ignoring the phone even as it grow to be ringing and that that that they had say, "Your telephone is ringing, are not you gonna answer that." i'd be like , "No, its no longer significant b/c i'm putting with my ladies". Then we would all giggle and also you would listen a beep. It grow to be fairly wonderful and my callers fairly loved it. yet thats only me.
