Generally speaking the larger the engine displacement (the "cc") the more performance available (speed, acceleration) and the trade-off will probably be less mileage (miles per gallon).

cc means cubic centimeters, a metric measurement
verses cubic inches on the imperial system
The higher the number, the higher the engine size, horsepower and of course, fuel consumption.

the higher the ccs the faster the vehicle goes...ccs are basicly another term for horse power but i belive the pwer ratio differs from ccs to hps
